Supporting Our Communities, One Donation at a Time
At CNB Bank & Trust, our commitment to making a positive impact in the communities we serve has always been at the heart of our mission. This year, we launched our Summer of Giving Campaign—a community-driven initiative designed to support local non-profit organizations that matter most to our customers. The campaign aimed to give back to our neighbors and strengthen the bonds that make each of our communities unique.
How the Campaign Worked
The Summer of Giving took place over the course of 12 days, running from July 10th to July 22nd. The campaign’s goal was simple yet meaningful: to donate $1,000 to the most popular non-profit organization in each of our community areas, totaling $17,000 in donations.
The selection process was designed to be community-focused, allowing residents to voice their support for their favorite non-profits through comments on CNB’s Facebook page. In addition to gathering community feedback through social media, we reached out to non-profits via email to ensure we connected with as many deserving organizations as possible.
Reflecting on the Impact
We were thrilled to see such enthusiastic participation from the communities we serve. Throughout the campaign, $17,000 was distributed across 17 communities, each donation making a direct and positive impact. The range of recipient organizations varied widely, from food banks and educational foundations to organizations focused on health services and youth programs. This diversity is a testament to the unique needs and strengths of each community we call home.
