CNB Announces New Positions for Board of Directors, Senior Staff in Jacksonville

CNB Bank & Trust, N.A. is pleased to announce the election of Kyle Schumacher to the Bank’s board of directors. Kyle grew up in Chapin, Illinois, where he graduated from Triopia High School. After graduating from the University of Illinois, he worked as a Loan Officer at Chapin State Bank, where he became Assistant Vice President. He has been an owner of Beard Implement Company for 12 years and has remained active on the family farm. Kyle previously served on the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce and Morgan County Fair boards, Cass-Morgan County Farm Bureau Young Leaders, and Chairman of Salem Lutheran Church. Kyle lives in Jacksonville with his wife, Sara, and three children.
CNB Bank & Trust, N.A. announced the promotion of Matt Cors to Vice President, Senior Consumer Loan Operations Officer, effective immediately. Matt started his banking career as a part-time teller at Jacksonville Savings Bank while enrolled at Illinois College. After graduating from IC, Matt began full-time employment with JSB holding various positions most notably Vice President of Operations and then Vice President of Retail Banking prior to the merger with CNB Bank & Trust, N.A. in 2019. Since joining the CNB team, Matt has most recently led CNB’s Mortgage Department serving as Vice President and Senior Residential Mortgage Loan Operations Officer, as well as serving as the Market President for Jacksonville and Chapin branches during 2021. Matt has done an excellent job maintaining a community bank focus that fits well within CNB’s mission of earning repeat business and helping customers achieve financial success. An active member of the community, Matt lives in Jacksonville, IL, with his wife and two daughters.
Also announced as a new hire for CNB, is Jodee Nell, who will serve as Market President for CNB’s Jacksonville and Chapin branches. A native of Jacksonville, Jodee is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University, and has 23 years of banking experience. As Market President, Jodee will oversee budget-planning, loan and deposit growth, and maximization of revenue in the Jacksonville and Chapin markets. Jodee also serves as Vice Chairman of the board for Tri County Community Development Corporation and is a Paul Harris Fellow recipient. Previous board memberships include President of Prairieland United Way, member for of the Jacksonville Area Chamber of Commerce, and prior Chairman of the Board for the Jacksonville Regional Development Corporation, of which she is a current board member.
