Darren Wright has spent the past 31 years as a professional in the financial services industry, working on both the institutional and individual sides of the business. He joined CNB Bank & Trust in February 2020, having already established a strong foothold and a formidable repertoire with customers throughout the greater Madison County area and the entire St. Louis Metro region.

As CNB’s Chief Investment Officer, Darren knows the value of defining goals and creating a vision for future financial soundness. He offers personalized investment management services to customers that are structured in such a way that each person Darren works with will have the ability to attain their financial goals as they travel along their desired life path.
Darren enjoys working with people to develop a better understanding of all their investment options.

Residing and raising a family in Edwardsville, Darren grew up in nearby Litchfield, Illinois. He completed his undergraduate studies in Accounting at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and received his MBA from University of Illinois-Springfield. In 2001, he earned the CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis. He enjoys giving back to his community through his service as a Good Shepherd Lutheran School board member.
